Student Employment Opportunities

Most students who attend the ELC with a student visa are allowed to work on campus. On campus employment is the only LEGAL employment for F-1 visa holders.
ELC students typically work in custodial, food service, laundry, grounds, or event staff. These jobs offer flexible hours that do not interfere with classes.

Requirements to work on campus:

  1. Demonstrate English ability by being placed in the correct level (Foundations C or higher)
  2. Demonstrate you are an engaged student by having grades 80% or higher in all classes
  3. Complete the I-9 form
